• May 4, 2012

We polled the folks on our email list to see if anyone would be interested in participating in some ornament workshops on Mother's Day. We received responses like:

• "Mother's Day would be awesome! I'd try to bring my daughter."

• "I think it would be fun to do with my mom."

• "My mom and I would LOVE to come for another ornament workshop!"

So... we'll be offering a chance to do something unique with Mom on her day. Click on over to the EVENTS page for workshops details.

We're getting a big response to our Paperweight Workshops so a second day is being added on April 21st. Click on over to the EVENTS page for workshops details.

 

• March 24, 2012

Our spring session is underway. Fortunately, those 86 degree days here in Grand Rapids seem to be behind us for awhile. Cooler weather makes glassblowing more fun! John is busy creating work for the galleries that carry his work. Unfortunately, Scott will probably be unable to blow this spring due to a broken foot and upcoming surgery. But he'll still be able to help handle the behind-the-scenes work for our upcoming workshops.

We'll be starting with some "Create Your Own Glass Paperweight" workshops in a few weeks. Check the EVENTS page for details.

Happy Holidays from Grand Rapids Glassblowing Studio!
